Made it to Detroit after more than a little frustration (woke up before 4, duffel bag was a bad idea, hotel had lost power, broke my ring) and then slept for something like 13 hours. So, the drive down to Houston was alright, as far as drives down to Houston go, but yesterday was absolute pants.
